Overview
The Distinguished Citizen Awards Dinner & Auction is celebrated in December at the conclusion of the Friends of Scouting Annual Campaign, as a thank you to our donors and a revenue to generate new sponsorships for Scouting.

Purpose
To recognize respected community leaders and organizations that exemplify the values of Scouting through their service and support of our community. The event raises funds to support the Outreach programs of the South Florida Council.
